But I don't think you can go wrong with any of the big 3's trucks. All have there strong and weal points. The really winner is the buying public when there is strong competition for your buying dollar.
You guys just dont get it do you? Any of the diesels in the Big 3 are more than enough for any sane person. The debate shouldnt be over the engines (there will never be a clear winner so long as people favor a certain brand) the debates should be about everything BUT the engine. MI didnt accomplish anything but put a bunch of numbers together in a theoretical world anything can look good on paper but in real world issues it just doenst hold up. And i honestly doubt he was even a marine. With the current situation he wouldnt have the time to conjur up that kind of crap. How do i know this? i have 6 friends in the marines right now (4 in iraq and 3 not) 1 is an engineer and i hardly ever get to talk to him for more than a minute or two and the others i dont get to talk to for hardly anymore than that. Most likely some book smart loud mouthed kid who thought he could fool the truck loving rednecks with fancy words and long equations.

I may be alone in this but I actually like the interior and exterior style of the 94-01 Dodge Rams. I've ridden in all 3... my brother owns a 2003 Dodge Ram Hemi; it is comfortable and has nice interior. He used to own a 2001 Ford F-350 Triton; that was comfortable and had nice interior. I drive a 2001 Silverado Vortec for work and that truck is comfortable and has nice interior. I have driven a 98 1/2 Dodge Ram and that was comfortable. It also had nice interior. In my opinion the only thing Ford has going for it is it's power of brand name and its illustrious performance in magazine tests. Oh and the PSD is a good engine, I guess it has that to.
Ford Truck Enthusiasts is not a debate site, though it has 1 section out of dozens for other brand discussion for its members. FTE is, first and foremost, about Ford trucks. If a user finds that their sole reason to be here is debate and they contribute no actual content to the Ford sections then they need to consider moving on. Why are they here? Do they own a Dodge (hmmm... no photos in gallery)? Do they work for Dodge or Cummins? Or a Dodge dealer or supplier?
Here's a "for instance". User has 149 posts, 18 in General Non-Automotive, 1 in General Automotive and 130 in FvC. You're free to draw your own conclusions.... I have a question that should be answered before you make any further posts: Why are you here?

Thats too bad your brother got sucked in to the Dodge world. Ill bet hell wish he had his 350 again. Boy the only thing Ford has got is its name. Thats kind of a putdown isnt it. Fords got the better overall truck period from body to chassis, transmission to drive train. I see Dodge still hasnt gotten a descent transmission behind there cummins. Will they ever learn. Not even a descent crewcab either. If I was in charge of Dodge trucks I could do alot better then those clowns. It looks like to me they dont take there truck business very seriously. Chevy I wont even go there. There just an expensive truck thats built cheap. Not made to take any kind of abuse period.

Maybe you're the one who doesn't get it.
If they're giving they're lives for the country--why aren't you?
Hmmmm--sounds like someone's jealous of using a little math. Were you the kid who always said, its math--I'll never need it---screw it, or better yet, it's school, I'll just cut class today. Well I'm here to tell you, it aint like that, nothing we have could be done without that kind of math. It doesn't magically appear in front of our faces, and it takes math to get it from the drawing board to the road.
