Think I am going to trade this sucker in on a dodge...Yes with a Hemi. Nothing Major is going on with the truck but I am sick of all of the little problems and the crappy service at all 3 of the different ford dealerships I have taken it to. Yes, I have talked to Dearborn and they have a file on my truck so I have to call them everytime I take it now. We'll see what they want to do when I tell them I am going to go get a Dodge. Probably nothing but I am tired of taking the dang thing to the shop.
I have got quite a few friends driving new dodge's...and guess what. None have been in the shop yet...I think I am more ticked off about the service that I am the truck. That is part of what you are paying for though.
im not saying nothin bad, but dodge truck has a steering wheel nibble too and i was going to buy one and found that there is no leg room in the back seat and the truck i was going to buy did have the nibble in the steering wheel.
If you buy a Dodge, make sure you like the dealer's service department.
Also, I am not sure what "steering wheel nibble" is but my friend bought a brand new Dodge 1/2 4x4 and from day one it had what he describes as frontend shimmy. He took the truck back to the dealer numerous times and they finally replaced the steering column. That didn't fix the problem either. He got very upset with the truck and the service. So, he sold the truck and bought a Ford F150 4x4. He has had zero complaints about the Ford truck.
Also the Dodge's handling is significantly worse than the Ford's. You'll notice a huge difference, so be ready for poorer handling. Other than that I did like the 2004 version of the Dodge.
I am looking at 3/4 ton trucks so I can't get too picky about the handling. Thanks for the input guys. I am not bashing the f-150 but it just hasn't made ME happy.
