Various Questions

Exhaust Tips, keyless Entry, fluid Dripping.... First Off I Would Like To Know Where I Should Get A Nice Stainless Steel Turn Down To Put On The Tip Of My Exhaust.. I Purchased One Over The Phone From My Local Spot And I Ended Up With A Bevel Cut. What I Want Is For The Exhaust Tip To Turn And Point Down!

I Would Also Like To Know, Is The Factory Keyless Code The Same In All Vehicles With This Feature? The Previous Owners Have Taken The Little Wallet Card Out Of The Glove Box And I Need That To Change The Code.

And Two Days Ago When I Left For A Camping Trip I Noticed "oil Like" Fluid On My Floor Matt.... It Was Coming From A Piston Looking Thing Attached To The Brake Pedal. Any Idea What That Is?

A far as your keyless code your local Ford dealer can get that for you. Then show you how to put in your own code. FYI: Some previous owners leave their factory card in the manual. Might want to look thoroughly there if not already.

I haven't got a clue what the drip inside your cab could be. In the olden days I would have said your oil sending unit / hose to the dash was leaking. I think that is all electronic now but not sure.

Keep searching the web for exhaust tips and / or check with your local muffler shop. When I was "pipeing my gassers my shop could get just about anything I wanted.

Wish I could help more. Good luck.

Grumpy---Back in the day an "oil like" substance coming from the brake pedal or anything attached to it in the cab was brake fluid, but I don't know about the new ones. Still doesn't sound right that it would run through the brake booster but it happens. Some of the tech's can surely tell you what that cylinder is. Kw is right about the keyless code too--it's hidden on the vehicle but not sure where--usually in a lockable spot tho.

Well.... The Explaination I Got Is Underneath The Dash Attached To The Brake Pedal Lever There Is A Piston Looking Kind Of Thing. Well, They Grease Something There And Near As We Can Figure Out Is That The Grease Has Gotten Warm Enough To Drip Down. My Wife Is Out Of Town With The Truck And Camper So I Asked Her To Wipe It Clean And See What Happens. I Will Post Again If That Doesnt Fix The Problem. This Is A 2004 With A 6.0 And I Assume The Piston Has Something To Do With The Torque Shift Transmission.
