Engine trans/swap + Power steering
alright i have a 1970 ford f250 with a 240 and a manual that im putting a 300 with an automatic transmission and im having trouble finding the transmission after market to buy i am also converting it to power steering and ...well i am completley lost when it comes to that i dont kno what i need or where to get it any help on any of these things would be much appreciated

Go to your local wreckering yard and check out the parts you will need. See if they will give you a price on the complete set up as it maybe a better deal if you get it all at the same time. Same for the power steering , check it all out on the vehicle and you will get a good idea as to what is involvded. Not too difficult if you can see it on the parts truck before you get started. for the power steering i alredy want to the local recking yard and its hard to tell if a steering part has been removed when you dont kno all that goes into it and for the tranny i really think it would be a bad idea to find one at a junk yard because it has a %60 chance of not working
ps i did look for the automatic tranny in the junkyard ne ways there where none just manuals and no trannys

Check around and see if there is any local Ford truck clubs in your area. Also you may find someone from the Ford dealer who is willing to help you out after hours. Look for a complete parts truck that you can use for both parrts and as a pattern.
