Hypertech vs. Superchip 5.4L 250
Hi,
Can anyone provide direct comparisons between hp gains etc... for a superchips programmer vs. a hypertech programmer.
In my perf. prod. magazine, superchips tout gains up to 25 hp/ 49 lb ft for gas engines while hypertech says they will give 45 hp / 57 lb ft. Prices are similar so any advice you all could give would be apprecitated. Thanks.

The only gas vehicle that is going to gain 40+ HP is a Mustang Cobra (or Lightning under the right conditions). The 5.4L will not gain that much. Dyno numbers can be massaged by the type of dyno used, where the numbers are measured, etc.
