SUPERCHIPS man.....all the way, if for no other reason than it being able to read your check engine codes and clear them for you.

I run the scmt and like it just fine. I would also steer clear of hypermax

I have ran and tested both the Superchips and the Diablo Predator on my truck, they are both great, but I feel the Predator makes more power, and has more features in it that I like.
Either one would be great. Like the others said, I would not buy the Hypertech........

Thanks for the replies, this helps alot.I had heard somewhere that when you change the progamming, that sometimes problems occur and the check engine light tends to come on. Is there any truth to this and if so,what causes this prob?

running my scmt on level 3 nailed to the floor I some times throw a engine light this happens at 24psi of boost this is normal for over boosting you can get a sensor that will take care of that

Banks has one, that plugs into the MAP sensor, ($10), and various others have regulators, I think ITP diesel sells one ($49). The regulator only allows the MAP sensor to see a set amount of boost, (default 22 psi). These work by fooling the control unit to think it's only making 22 PSI; therefore, it will not cause overboost, and trips lights and limit boost.
