I had a cam sensor go out earlier this year and had it replaced thanks to the 100,000 warrenty it was covered. When I got it back it did not seem to have the power and pick up and go, but the milage was better (7.3 powerstroke ) I drove fromTn to Destin, Fl and av. right at 22 x gallon. Comming back I ran at 80-85 up I-59 north and av about 19.
I just got back from a 2000+ mile trip from NH to Ohio for a drag race at Norwalk. I was towing my car trailer with car, had a bunch of tools, and 3 people on board. I averaged 11.1 MPG, which I thought was pretty good until reading this thread. I have the V10 with the 4.30 LSD, and we were cruising around 75-80 MPH most of the time, which may be why it is lower than most.

That sounds real good to me for a loaded V10 hauling a car on a trailer at 75-80.
