wheel bearing question

how hard is it to replace the front wheel bearings on a 2000 4x4 excursion?
any advice or hints would be helpfull.

I had mine done by a mechanic friend. Unless you have some "good" tools, it is no easy task. The seals were the worst part. If they don't get put back in properly, the hubs will remian locked. The service manual requires a special tool for the seals to seat them properly, but this guy was able to get it done without it.Good luck.
