More oomph

I have a 86 4x4 5 speed BII and want to get as much power out of this engine without upgrading tremendously. Like changing the heads out or anything... I dont want to mess with all that. The things I have considered doing were rigging up some kind of cowl induction, remove the mechanical fan and replace it with an electric one, new injectors, new cam, and a new computer chip. I figure once I am done with all that I will have more power than I started with. Any other ideas? Or is there something wrong with my configuration? Need input, thanks

Don't think you'll need injectors unless your forcing air into the engine, a cat back exhaust would be a good idea.
