upgrade ideas
Ok... I have a 94 f150 xlt with a Mark III Visual Upgrade and a 302. The upgrade was on this truck when it was originally sold. My dad bought it from the original owner in 1996 and it was like new. My dad gave it to me last November, and I'm ready to do some stuff to it. Herein lies the problem. I dont exactly know what to do to it... Yeah... sounds kinda dumb, but theres alot that can be done. I'm puttin dual exhaust on it next week... I'm also gettin a leveling kit for it... Ive got a system for it... I'm plannin on either keepin the Aluminum alloy rims that are on it, or gettin some chrome ones like em... not sure bout that yet... I'm Open to any suggestions anyone has... Ive got pics of my truck in my gallery... Check em out... Oh... I failed to mention... Performance and Visual mods is what im askin for:P Thanks everyone.

Well first off nice interior. What is that thing on the ceiling? Anyways it's nice man. What do you like? Are you a hot rodder or what? Or are you someone who wants function over looks. If it were me I'd get myself a set of 15 or 16x8 rims with some nice tires, put headers and duals, re-gear the rearend with a 3.73 or 4.10 ratio and leave it. Smoke some ricers and call it a day. lol

Thanks man. The thing on the ceiling is a console type thing... dunno exactly whatcha call it, but its got 8 small lights and im looking into putting colored lights in it. It also has 3 switches on it... I took pics of them as well... i cant really say exactly what im into... I dont like big rims though... I like the ones on my truck now... they are Progressive 15/10's with some 275's... ((Progressive is out of business)) i like wide tires w/ 15, 16... maybe 17 inch rims that stick out the side of the truck... mine would if i took the ground effects off... i dont care for slammed... but i like low... loud is good... bangin system... FAST... love speed... my dads got a 94 mustang gt... and i love doin 140 down the highway... like i said before... im gettin some flowmasters put on it... and lowerin the back end... im also about to replace the rear main oil seal, and the o2 sensor... cause its screwed... i hooked it up...and the codes it threw said it was the o2 sensor... everybody at my hs loves the truck... but theres alot that can be done to it... everyone suggests lowerin the rear end

visually i'd go with a new airdam/bumper cover, a roll pan in the back, maybe some tinting. Nu Image offers some gauge kits for your truck as well. how about a set of first generation lightning rims?

Check out the Ultra type 50/51. There's thousands of them around here now but I was the first to put them on a truck(97' Ranger 2x) in my area. I'm not using them now and they won't fit my f150 4x.
I'm just waiting until I get a vehicle to put them on and they aren't as common as they are now. Sometimes something can look good, but if everyone has it, it loses some of it's appeal.
