Donnie;
When you say not communicating, do you mean you can't pull codes? Need a little more info partner! Is the truck running? What is the problem exactly? Just a little suggestion have you tried reseting the computer? That response is a shot in the dark. The people on this site are good and have probably gone through what your going through, just need more info!

the bronco is currently not running . there is no 12volts to the coil .the only way it will run is to run a hot wire to the coil and bypass the fuel pressure relay. akso I have tried resetting the computer by removing the negative postconnection on the battery and turning on the light switch

Well to be honest with ya, the cause could be alotta things. The first thing I would do is try to pull codes on the computer. It will give ya a code for a faulty computer, that can atleast give you a starting place. Just for S$@TS and GRINS, check the ignition wiring located on the steering column about a foot down from the wheel. The plug on my 88 was melted away and causing problems. Check past post's on pulling codes, there is a link out there on how to do it with a paper clip!
Keep us informed.
