Remote Reset for 93 Explorer
I recently changed my battery and found the remote on my fob didn't work. I tried turning the ignition on and off five times and it didn't work. I was told there are two grey wires with male connectors you can short out to reset the remote code. They were supposed to be LH aft by the tire jack / rear windshield wiper fluid container. I couldn't find it there. I also checked behind the glovebox - no luck.
Does anyone know where this mystery wire is located?

Remote Reset for 93 Explorer
I looked at 2 different shop manuals for 1993 Ford Explorers and found two different locations called out for the keyless remote reset wires (behind the glovebox and LH aft inside fender). The two-wire connector (J4) wasn't in either location. If anyone knows where this connector was installed (maybe as a dealer-installed option) let me know.
