Talking Programmer Question Please Help

Does anyone have any experience with the hand held programmers for the 2004 6.0 F250 4x4's? I need one that can:
-Allow me to recalibrate for tire size changes
-Allow me to recalibrate for differential gear changes
-Allow me to recalibrate for engine add-ons (exhaust/intake)
-And the obvious one program for more power when I need it.

What do you people use that you like?????????????????

Any feedback would be great

I read the entire insruction book and there is no explanation of it doing all that I have asked about. Have you personally used one? Are the power gains safe and noticeable? How about exhaust temps?

Sorry for being so inquisitve, I have one in front of me and don't want to plug it in until I know it is what I need....

the gains are very noticible the tranny will shift harder and black smoke will puff out when you get on and it is very safe i have it on the highest setting and i am towing a 5,000 lb trailer everyday and the exhaust temp never changes and i also have a 4inch cat back

Sounds great! But what about the other features (tire change/diff. gear changes/ engine add-ons like exhaust/intake) have you used this model to reprogram those type of changes?

Thanks

i would call superchips and ask them how to change the tire/gear changes i could not figure it out and i dont see why you would have to reprogram when you put your exhaust/intake on but superchips said it would not to hurt to reload the level you are on.

If you post the question in that area you are going to receive many answers.
Most of your answers will be no you cannot do it...tire size can be done by you dealership.

There is members over there that have done every conceivable thing with tuners, like running two at once.

my $.000002 worth ?
if u get a tuner like the Diablo Predator you may not WANT to change anything other than exhaust and intake to be able to utilize the power it will give you....

It makes the 8K LB BEAST of an Ex I have more like a sports car....
2 second 60 foot time on street tires ain't bad at all

Unhappy

What a drag. I bought it especially so I did not have to take it to the dealer for reprogramming or buy a mickey mouse Superlift true speed to recalibrate. Is there a programmer out there that does what I am looking for???? DOES ANYONE HAVE FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE????????
