Richard he owns a SD and he is in the SD section, there are two correct places to ask this question.....here and in the 6.0 area............it is his choice to ask where he wants.
It would be GREAT if he would listen and ask it over there........however...!!!
This forum and all of FTE is NOT going lower and lower.

Tim ,I don't mean to clutter his post or debate this with you ,which I won't.

This is a ? about a programer or tuner , it may be on a superduty!

But we have a Forum for those types of ?
What I meant about going lower is the forums are getting all cluttered with these types of ?
people don't look around before posting!

I step down now

Joe,
did you ask the person you BOUGHT this tuner from these questions before you bought it ?

Sounds like maybe THEY are the people you should be yelling at if you asked those questions... and if you didn't ask those questions and those are the reason you bought it... then you should be yelling into the mirror

none of the issues you listed were even ON my list of reasons to get the predator, but I will say that I am tickled PINK with it...

but that's not helping you, is it ?
good luck... hope you find what makes you happy

HYPERTECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is the ONLY tuner that allows gear ratio correction due to tire size changes OR gear swaps.

i have not used one

all it's programs are said by the manufacturer to be safe towing the MAXIMUM allowable weight, yes, even the 100+hp tune........

i have not seen my best freinds former roomates tuner either, i read this in THEIR advertisement in 4 wheel/off road mag.

i assume they have a website where one could research it a bit.

it is likely the one i will buy when i am allowed to, just for the fact i can change computer for tire sizes and have an accurate speedo. diablo, and superchips do not seem to get it....

Thumbs down Come on now

You people have nothing better to do than nitpick? So I posted in the wrong arena....So what. Call me crazy for not being FTE savvy, I posted where I thought I would get responses, which I did. Unfortunately, the FTE ****'s seem to be shedding tears over senseless stuff. I did search and found nothing of substance in regards to "my" questions. The question is addressed but never answered. I appreciate all the "knowledgeable" input but can do without those that just like to "snipe".

P.S. I was told this programmer did what I needed. My suspicion arose when on the box it stated "only some models" and nothing in the instructions. That is why I ask.

Thanks

Maybe I misunderstood....
Which truck, year and engine do you have ?
also, you menioned you had a tuner in front of you...
WHICH tuner ?

All of them have different programmers for each truck/engine type...
the only ones I had heard that have tire size adjutments were for the 7.3 engines...
haven't heard of any for the 6.0... but again, I wasn't looking for that or I would have asked...

if the tuner you have is a superchips... i have noticed their marketing sometimes eludes to more than less, if you know what I mean
to check out the diablo... go to diablosport.com

Your right

I apologize. I don't want enemies. Anyway, I got to the bottom of it all. There is not one programmer available that does what I need. The only way to recalibrate ECM defaults for tire changes is to take it to the dealer. I am told that Superlift's Tru-Speed is more trouble than it's worth so I wino't buy it. I would like to know what you all think of the "Quadzilla" programmer. I need a programmer that is not traceable to FORD technicians. I am told the EDGE and the Quadzilla are untraceable. Any experience with these.....good or bad. They run about 700.00. Iam taking back the Superchips.
