Upper or lower? Upper, easy, lower, not so easy. Guessing it's probably the lower (intake to cyl. head) The intake itself comes off easily enough, but correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the exhaust manifold gasket and intake gasket are one unit. Removing the exhaust manifolds can be evil sometimes. Might have to seperate the upper and lower intakes, which isn't hard, but it's one more gasket you'll need. Good luck.

Like to thank you people for your help with this vacum problem. However I did go to a garage and got the repair done. ($380.00) A side problem that I have had for two years . A vibration that comes and goes has not come back again after the vacum repair. The truck would vibrate at any speed and leave if I have it more gas or let up on the gas. My truck hasn't run this good in years. I didn't know a vacum problem could cause so many headaches. The truck runs so smooth that when I stop in gear it feels like it stalled. Thanks Again R J F
