cluster instrument panel

I will like to know If I can replace the cluster gage panel from my 94 6L XL without RPM gauge with a another cluster with RPM gauge from the XLT model......witout mayors problems.......do I need to buy o replace any part?

I think it will work fine. I did this in my pickup and everything worked fine. I just found the same style cluster that came out of a pickup with the same size engine, I didn't have to run any extra wires, just plugged it in and it worked. I was able to make the odometer read the same mileage I had on the original cluster, cleanned it all up and it looks brand new. You can find them in the junk yards from 15 to 100 dollars.

my engine is 6 cyl, what about is the new cluster is from a V8, will work?

the only diffence between the inline 6 and the v 8 is the engine compartment wiring and the comp that controls the engine. The cab wiring is the same so yes it will work just plug in all the correct wires and away you go. You can also reuse your odometer just remove the screws or clips if that is your case that hold it in place and install it into your new cluster.
