My C6 is leaking and my Haynes manual is no help. It's leaking where the selector lever goes into the tranny. It's right where the switch is for the reverse lights is. There's a nut on there that's pretty loose but I can't find any torque specs on it.
Is that one of the band adjustments or is it just for the selector lever? Should I just crank it down or is it supposed to be loose?
So, how do you replace that seal? I have a C4 that is doing the same thing at the shift selector shaft. I have the replacement seal and cannot find anything on it in Haynes or Detroit Iron manuals.
