i am planning on putting on camo wrap on to my 89 ford ranger do i need to sand to bare metal or can i leave the good paint on and how much primer and what kind should i put on
Not familiar with that product. Can you tell us a little bit about it? Is it as it sounds, and just a wrap that sticks on, or is it something different?
It just sticks on? I'd leave the truck's paint how it is and just put the camo on. If your paint isn't all flaky that is. If it is flaky, I'd sand just get the flakes out and shoot on some clear or epoxy primer. Then put on camo. I'm not a bodywork expert though, so take my advice lightly. I know a good amount, but not a whole lot about bodywork as I'm just getting into that stuff.
Hey, let us know how that stuff works. I don't know if I'd use it, I'd probably just paint my truck camo color. That's just me though. I like to over do everything and make things a big project. For example, if my wife tells me to pick up twigs, I end up finding tree limbs and then I need to get my trailer hooked up, chainsaw, and yeah, you get the idea. Haha. I bet I'm not the only one.
