where to put a CB?

In my `88 F 150 I put mine under the dash just to the right of the steering column , and put the mic clip to the left of the am/fm radio. That way I didn`t have to reach under the dash to grab the mic..

Under the dash, on the headliner above the rear view mirror (did you know there is a large metal plate about an inch from the outside of the roof? Totally drillable if you're careful!), under the seat, etc.
Lots of places to tuck a CB.
Mine's going on the overhead console that I installed, leeched it from a chrysler minivan.

i have one mounted under the dash on the right of the steering collum. easy access while driving. also has a PA. the horn is mounted behind the grill. i use it mostly just to bark at rude motorists..gets a laugh.
