I think that I have something like that. The first night I spent at college with a roomate my freshman year, he woke me up at 4 in the morning because he thought I was choking to death. What exaclty is sleep apnea?

If you go see a doctor about meds to aid sleep, LOOK OUT!!! Some of the stuff they'll prescribe is just nasty.
Go to a local Herb store and talk to them. They don't have knock-out pills, but other items that stimulate the production of 5-HTP.
Do a search on "serotonin".

I woke-up at 8 o'clock yesterday and i am still awake. I was camping and it was 110 degrees out. We decided to leave that night because one of the cars in our group was messed up and he didnt want to drive it in the heat. So we left at 1:30am and drove all night. we stoped for breakfast at dennys at 5am. We left again and made it home at 9ish. I'm tired.

I just woke up an hour ago...to go to work and find out that our TV show didn't air so I had to come home (I work for an infomercial company). I've had to get up at all different times and it screws me up a lot. I felt much better when I was more consistant with my sleeping. I used to go to bed at 12-1am and get up at 9-10ish, now I'm all over the place and it screws me up.

Very tired. Just got home at 630 this morning after driving to Fort Campbell Kentucky and back. Drove over 1,800 miles in one weekend. I wanna go to sleep!
Does anyone else start seeing pink bunnies tumble across the road at 2 in the morning after driving for 12 hours?

Thank you peppy...yeah, I'm the guy you hear snoring through the hotel wall at night. We put a small tape recorder (the note-taking in class kind) and my friend laid it on my chest when I was asleep one night to let me hear what I sounded like. It sounded funny at first, then got so loud it was just static, and the recorder couldn't register sound anymore. I met a girl right away in college, and she would only sleep over occassionally. We were together for almost 3 years, and eventually, and I think subliminally, I stopped snoring, and she slept over more. When we broke up, I snored like a madman again. Strange. But, hey, if that's what the doctor orders, than I'm not complaining.

I have insomnia, I don't say suffer cuz sometimes it comes in handy. Whether wrenching, gaming, fixing comps, writting code, watching movies, or anything else I can get into. I am always tired though, sux when you really wanna do something, and you do it, just really slowly. I always say I'm pacing myself .

Yeah, I am Active Army and have a part-time job of sorts. Up at 5am and don't usually get home till after 8pm. The Son goes to bed then I can sit on the couch to watch TV or whatever.

Today, people are getting less and less sleep and are doing more. Who has time to sleep anyway?
