i live in dallas. work for me work starts at 5:30am and ends at 5:00 last valentines day me and my girl left for shreveport later that night. left around 9 didnt get there until midnight. went straight to the casinos. after long night of loosing money we went to check into a motel well i wasnt thinking it was valentines weekend and all the rooms there were booked. we searched for over an hour. we then decided wtf lets head back home. i drove whole way back. most time it was raining. i was seeing pink bunnies, multiple stripes on road. at one time i fell asleep for split second. freaked me out. was a real bad time i will never drive there again without booking a room first.
I don't have insomnia, but I only sleep about 4 hours a night. I can stay awake for days at a time. well not days, my longest is about 49 hours... 33 of which was driving from St. Paul minnesota to a little town in New Hampshire...
Yeah, I am Active Army and have a part-time job of sorts. Up at 5am and don't usually get home till after 8pm. The Son goes to bed then I can sit on the couch to watch TV or whatever.
Today, people are getting less and less sleep and are doing more. Who has time to sleep anyway?
There will be plenty of time for that when I am dead. Who wants to waste their time sleeping???
I get up at 4a,take the dog out, go to the gym at 7a ( I take a train from Providence, RI to Boston,MA), work 8:30a until 5pm, get home about 7p, take the dog out and make dinner, by the time I sit down to relax, it is 9pm, go to sleep about 10pm and start all over.
Wow, that is really a comute. I only have seen you train people on tv.
I never seem to have spare time during the week. If I had your schedule, I would never get anything done.
Did I mention I am going to Nursing school too? So some nights, I don't get home until 1am, but then I ususally forgo the gym the next morning so I can sleep to a whopping 5:30a
I am really impressed, good for you. I went to college at night then I worked from 10 pm to 6 am. That was a long time ago. Could I do it now? No way. Do it awhile you are young and have the energy.
