Bad Vibrations - WME
I own a 1997 Expidition 5.4L 4X4 EB edition with 87000 miles on it. One year ago I started feeling a strange sound/vibration at all speeds that seems to get worse at around 70miles an hour and backs off to the usual noise/ vibration level I hear at higher speeds.
On a trip to Southern Cal The back tranmission seat went, Oil everywhere and I had to have the tranmission transfer case rebuilt twice due to the fact that the first shop did not rebalance the drive shaft and the same back transfer seal blew again after only 400 miles on my way home. I don't have any leaks now but the sound/ vibration is still there and I feel lik I'm driving a deisel truck.
Can anyone tell me if this could be the harmonic balancer or moter/transmission mount issue or give me some insite as to what to look for. The front end and shocks are brand new and I just put an upgraded perelli set of tires on so alignmenat and tire issues should not be the problem.
