I'm waitin on a part... O'Reilly's said it would be here Monday afternoon, I'll keep you updated... my problem is identical, except my magic speed for everything working is 63 mph.

Here's the part I need...

http://www.partsamerica.com/PartDeta...e=1061&PTSet=A

I just hope they ship the right part... so much easier than buying off of the internet

Take out the ttp:// at the beginning and paste it into your address bar. Pretty easy to replace.

installation is eeeeasy. all I had to do was remove one nut, and then pry it out, cause it 'pops' into place. Just wedge your screwdriver under it, and pop, it'll come out.

Problem Solved

alright guys. I got my sensor replaced. I ended up going to a Ford dealership to get the part. $22.50. That was the problem, drives like a dream again. After all the help, I acted like I knew what I was talking about, and the owner of the dealership was impressed... He said most kids my age have no idea what they're doing. Thanks for makin me seem smart for that small moment. Just make sure you get the speed sensor on the differential, not the one on the transmission. Thanks for everyone's help.

it confuses me when forum members mis-label the post to get attention.

are these sites not monitored?

I don't like it either
That's why I just re-titled it

ok guys, update, got my sensor, the head that goes in first had differnet sizes, the new one i got had a longer end and was differently shaped. So basically the whole head was longer, and differently shaped then the previous sensor. wasnt working right but looked like it was trying to work. Maybe i dont have it in the far enough or something? I didnt hear a click or anything like that. should I have heard a clicking when it goes in? Let me know any of your experiences with this.thanks.
