superchip help
i had my truck at the shop to get my superchip in but it would not work the guy told me that my board was to thin and that he would have to build up the board for it to work has anybody had this and should i have it done

I have never heard of this, but you may want to ask Ken this question(he runs the boards, and sells Superchips). There is a section on this board for Computer Chips. Might want to look in there and post.

sounds like he scrubed away too much with the cleaning pad.superchips will correct it for you.they back everything.contact them.another possibilty if its a firewall style comp.then the chip hits the top of the pcm box.if a gorilla tightens comp in all the way.the chip gets knocked out of position.some comps need a jumper wire installed.they will tell you how or superchip will make this mod for you also at no additional charge.contact them hope you have reciept.it shouldn't be too hard to re-tin contacts.grounding strap,non current solidering iron.
