I have a '92 f-350 460 7.5 L 167,000. She only sets code 41 (running lean) when the a/c is on. The egr and sensor are new. It was idling rough and sluggish so I replaced the idle air bypass and that fixed that problem. I did all the typical tune up stuff (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filters, pvc valve) replaced o2 sensor, checked for vac leaks, checked electrical connectors, batt. is new, and changed the alt. So, where to go from here besides the shop? I will check the ECT sensor and throttle position sensor.
It also seems my temp gauge on the dash is lower than usual and takes a while to come up.
Any advice is greatly appreciated if anyone is familiar with this problem. I don't have lots of time and since I'm not a mechanic it take me much longer to study these manuals and proceed accordingly. (Oh, the things a girl has to do!) But I like my truck and I try to keep her in good shape.
