No 5th gear!!
I have a '86 Bronco II 2.9 4x4 5 speed Mitsubishi transmission. One day while in 5th, shifter just popped out of gear and a loud noise, and then no 5th gear anymore. Shifter will go into 5th gear position, but when you release the clutch, nothing happens; it is like you are in neutral. Any suggestions about what the problem might be? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
