2.9L headers, worth it?

How oldis the engine?If your engine is the one that came in the truck and has not had a rebuild,no there not worth the money,Now if you are going to rebuild your engine then yes,I would get them.The extra HP and gas milage they are worth it.JMO
it.You will need to soak the exhlute[spelling] bolts real good for a day or to before you get started,then pray that you dont brake one off in the head

one question, have you done this before grayranger? do you know if anyoe makes headers that hook up to the rest of the stock pipes? any pointersm suggestions, tips, info would be great. thanks!

I know Pace Sitter makes them for the 2.9.As far as the pipes go you will have to have them made,I think you can cut your H or Y{which ever you have} pipes and add a flang and it will work.You might went to do a search here and in the BII fourms .Im sure you will find alote more info on this.

I would definitely prey the bolts don’t snap. I snapped all but 2 bolts when I was going to go with headers. I had to pull the heads, drill, tap, and come to find out, the headers didn’t fit 
this was with my 2.8L and some stupid E-bay headers. Apperently they only fit rangers with the automatic transmission with the starter on the passenger side.
