sun chips are better for ya, and the french onion (freedom onion?) is by far one of the best on the market.
and for the aluminium polish, sand it down with paper, like say 120 grit of it is rough. then move to a finer, like ~ 300 grit...keep going untill your at 1500 -2000 grit. you can then hand polish the material with rubbing compound untill it is mirror shiny.
finish it with some "zoop seal", and it will look like chrome for a year or more. that stuff 0WnZ j00!

I like the tuners that allow you to do it on the fly. I went with a banks unit only because I have a friend that sells them. (Buddy Price) I have not put it in yet due to engine idle up issues that need to be resolved first. I also liked the edge product with the electronic gauges with tracking capabilities. All of the chips/ tuners that are in here that some of the old timers use would be a good choice. Go to Motorhaven and ask them for options.

Where's the Predator Vs. Superchips head-to-head article???
Just wondering since I have been following the tuner debate for some time now. Ken posted an article back in June titled "A Look At The Diablo Sport Predator For the 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel
By Ken Payne"
The last paragraph stated:
"Naturally, we don't intend to simply end this article using Diablo's chart as our sole source of data. In the words of Ronald Reagan when the USA signed the nuclear missile treaty with the Soviets: "trust but verify." With that in mind, we have two upcoming articles in the works. The first is a Superchips Microtuner article similar to this one. The second is a head-to-head article using two sets of independent dyno results we have for each brand. "
Here's a link to the complete article
Tuner comparision article
I understand that Ken and the crew at Motorhaven are probably pretty busy this summer, but please don't keep us waiting too long.

I had an earlier Preditor, and it made an amazing difference over stock. I switched 2 months ago to the Edge/Attitude because of the ability to alter things with a simple press of the button. The shifting is not as smooth as with the Preditor, but the edge absolutely wild on level 5. I'm not sure I could go back to a programmer at this point, but it does have some advantages.
Interesting note & word of caution. I now have two EGT guages (one Pre turbo I installed before the preditor, one Post Turbo, since it came with the Edge Monitor). EGT Temps are much higher on level 5 with the edge than with the Preditor. The Preditor is equivalent to level 4 on the Edge.
If I go full bore on an on ramp my egt pre-turbo temps will fly past 1400 before I reach 60. Its about 150 cooler post turbo, so be careful!
I have the AFE intake & Turbo back dual exhaust, however I still have the Cat in, so temps are higher than others might experience.
Here is a wierd thing... I usually drive on level 5, and actually get 21 mpg (I don't race & act juvinile, but I accelerate quickly, and drive 85 on the highway). I don't understand how I get more power & more gas mileage.

21 MPG on a 6-oh ?!?
The only way I could see that number is with some "happy math"
sorry, but that statement tends to dispel the accuracy of most of your info....
I would venture to say there are NO 6-oh's getting 21 mpg unless they are running downhill for about 100 miles.... NOT REAL 21 mpg - maybe the lie-o-meter says it, but sorry, even the 7.3's work hard to get that kind of mileage...

as much as i like to call b.s. on guys stating over 20mpg, i have myself done it.......once. ~21mpg over a 360 mile return trip from socal to cencal. on the way down i got 19.... i get 17.5-18.0 almost every tank right now, up from 16.5 ( like clockwork, every tank) since i started using power service.... this truck gets better milage than my 01gt, or my 02 gt did. it is driven hard, as were the stangs.
