Transmission Question

Mine is a 4 dr xlt 4x4 5 speed. I recently pulled my transmission to replace the slave cylinder and release bearing. While I was there I noticed the pilot bushing was destroyed, so I replaced it too.
I used several 3/8" extensions and a swivel to reach mine. From under the hood, I put my light at the back of the engine so I could see my target from below. When re-installing them, I got a step ladder and reached over from the top and started them by hand, then got back under the explorer to tighten then. If you have an air ratchet, this is a good place to use it.
