SPARE TIRE RECALL
i got a letter from ford saying there could be a problem with my spare tire bracket; it might rust away, like the rest of the truck, and fall off... i was already made aware of this problem last winter when i got a flat and surprise... no spare to be found. i have a bad feeling i must have left it in a parking lot somewhere to be found by some lucky person or else some unlucky person behind me on the highway. i bought a new one at the junkyard and keep it inside the car where its safe.. question is does Ford owe me a new spare for this?

If it falls under the recall, and you had expenses before being made aware of the recall, then yes - they will owe you. That is as long as you can show a receipt of some kind... I had a time with a Ranger I had and a situation like this because I didn't have a receipt showing the exact costs I incurred...
What years are the recall covering? Guess I need to look and make sure mine is still there...
