Bobby Fischer it seems has been spending his time in the south Pacific. So would I if I wanted to live privately and comfortably. He was detained in Japan after trying to catch a flight to the Phillipines. The U.S. wants him for violating sanctions against Yugoslavia. One of the big mysteries of the last two decades has been exposed. After he won the $3.35 million chess competition against Spassky in Yugoslavia he has been MIA. Nobody has been able to find the recluse. He is the greatest chess player that ever lived.
I forgot all about that guy, didn't even know he was a criminal. So why would the US waste any time or money prosecuting this guy, afterall, they sucessfully prosecuted Martha stewart, who happens to be the biggest menace to the free world since Hitler. I hope Bobby wasn't helping Milosevich learn how to play chess.

Why does his name sound farmiliar? I wasn't alive 20 years ago...
Shawnz do a web search and you will see. He is considered by many, if not almost all to be the greatest chess player that ever lived. He is a bit "nuts", but with regard to chess he is the best. He keeps disappearing only to re-emerge from time to time to beat the best in the world. He has got some social issues though, not a very nice guy!
