A/C-Radio
Two problems with my 1997 Eddie Bauer:
1) A/C hot/cold plenum seems to be sticking. You either get cold or hot, no in between. If a/c is on and you warm up the temp, if you get close to the 75 temp, whoosh, super hot. When you first start the truck, there is a noise as if the vacuum is trying to pull the door to one position or the other and then "clunk," which continues for a few seconds when it is warm, but goes on and on when the temperature is cold. I believe there is a TSB on it but can't find the TSB on-line. One mechanic said have to tear the dash out, cost $650.00. Seems someone should know how to replace whatever the problem is cheaper. Thoughts? Help?
2) Radio crackling in the right rear speaker only. Occasionally a pop is heard and then clear sound. The problem comes and goes. Speaker? Amplifier? Anyone experience this?
