Love bug removal
Hello to the Florida chapter. I've been down here two years. I'm over here on the West Coast in Palmetto. The wife's on my case about getting the seasonal bugs off the front end of our car. They sure are plastered on the finish nice and tight. I tried various detergents and scotch bright on one small area. Needless to say, the scotch bright took the finish off. I notice that when I do the tedious job with my fingernail, that process leaves little pin holes thru to the primer. This on a '96 Cougar. Any good local remedies? Granted, I waited too long after getting smashed to clean them off. I thought that time and all the rain would do the job. Thanks for any help.

a quick detailer (Meguiar's or Mother's) work well, also Windex.
Just spray on and wipe off with a microfiber towel. I personally don't use windex on my personal vehicles (not sure if it strips wax or not), but it works on ambulances
