Custom Hitch/ball Mounts
I have a similar question. My truck is a 2004 F-250 cc 4x4 PSD with the Tuff Country leveling kit and F-350 blocks on the rear. I have 315 Buckshot Maxxis Mudders. My pics are in my gallery. I need a new drop hitch. I am guessing probably about 3 inches. Can anyone give me a definite answer. If not I guess I'll have to break out the old measuring tape. I am pulling my double jet ski trailer to Destin, FL this weekend. Thanks.

i have contacted ekharts and they have explained...
drop hitch-it will be rated at 5k...
hitch replacement and drop hitch i can be rated at 10k...
i think this is more of what you will need to pull you boat...also, would you consider selling yours, if you will not be using it...

Let me get this right... They sell drop hitches that are rated for 5000, but if you need more than that, you have to get their hitch too?? Whats the diff. between their hitch and the beefy one that already comes on the truck??
Yes, I had spoke to Justin from Ekhart and he had explained that the Hitch will be replaced to a 2 1/2" for a higher load rating. He said, "Hitch is unlimited and you will be able to tow up to the trucks tow rating". Hitch=$401, Slider=$175, and Reducer=$21. I had contacted the West LA Location (310) 479-1298.
