Hi-beam and Lo-beam built into one headlamp...right? Where does the Flash-to-Pass illumination come from, because there is a third degree of brightness when you flash. This question has been bugging me for some time now. Thanks for any answers.
The flash to pass uses both lights (as nightshifter said). But you can take a relay and tie it in to the highbeam wire, then run it to the low beams. Now you have all 4 lights on when you have the high beams on (instead of highs on and lows off). They sell a "high four" kit for $30 but i made mine for $3.
wouldn't that burn up the bulbs quicker from the extra heat though? Just a thought, as there's been many dark nights I could have used the extra light going down the road.
