Not to disagree, but I have one of those trucks that gets 22 mpg with a 4.10 rear. 1993 F-350, 7.3, 5 speed, CC dually. Loaded with gooseneck with 12000 lbs it gets 16 to 17 mpg. I don't baby this truck nor do i drive it hard. Love the old IDI engines, its not the most powerful thing but this is a workhorse not a racehorse. Truck has 260,000 miles with nothing done to it but routine maintenance. (not even the glowplugs or relays) Wife says she's gonna bury me in this truck. I hope the '04 I just bought is half the truck this has been.
