Head Gasket?

Head Gasket?
Hi, I have A 91 Ford explorer andbelieve that the engine needs a head gasket.
The shop I took it to is full of crap about most things ( see my post about 85 econoline van in that forum https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...72#post1764672 ) My oil pressure will drop after running for a few mins and it will heat way up and then cool to normal, thern heat up again, However runs well when started.
All of this in a matter of 5 mins after starting.
Shop says, without opening the engine or testing pressure etc, that I have a bad cylinder bad head gasket and generally a blown engine.
This is engine number 2 and is 2 years old. Well maintained and with only about 10,000 miles on it.
