Here is the delima:
I driving home and the clutch decided that it wanted to go almost all the way to the floor before engaging. I drove it little today and my dad and I jacked it up to look at the pressure plate (kind of) and see if there was an adjust for the clutch. Upon looking and scratching our heads, I pushed the clutch down and it was back up to where it is supposed to be. I have not driven it, but I have started it and it stayed up like it should. The clutch pedal is not "falling" to the floor on its own. It just had a lot of play in it.
OK, I made a post about this a while back and I checked all the things that were suggested: fluid level is good and has not changed and there is no leak. I found more info on this. When it goes to the floor, I push the clutch and slip my foot off so that the clutch "slams" up and it is back to normal. This is weird. I have to do this about once to twice a day. Any ideas?
If anyone has any idea what is going on, please let me know.
I wonder if air somehow got into the system since you have to use the clutch technique (which is working correct?) which is use to bleed the system. try bleeding the clutch. which fluid did you check the trans fluid or the clutch fluid? if not the clutch fluid, check it.
