93 exp. sport air in hyd. clutch

I have checked around and can't find anyone that will give me a clue to why I keep getting air in my clutch system? Truck runs strong no clutch slipage, even with 140000mi. I bought it at 113000,so I don't know if it has been replaced. I have to bleed air out about once a week then it shifts great. I have a 91 ranger(130000)same system and no problem. How does air get in but no fluid leakage? Will I have to replace slave cyl. If I do I might as well do the whole works. Is there any o rings or seals that can be replaced(one guy told me he had to put a special o ring in input line) Thanks for your time larry:-X11

I would say replace the slave cylinder. I had to do that on my '97 Explorer because I had to bleed the system every 3 or 4 days. Would work great after I bled it, but then it would get to where the pedal would feel loose and gears were getting harder to engage. I never saw any sign of leakage so maybe the seal was just going out when I replaced it.

The o-ring for the input line comes with a new slave cylinder kit. Go to Autozone and get a slave cylinder. Brakemaster is a pretty good brand, they're the only ones that makes brake equipment still for my '67.
