How to remove harmonic balancer?

How to remove harmonic balancer?
I can not get the harmonic balancer off. I already took off the bolt and now I am using the tool that removes it. I have broke one of the bolts on the tool so I bought great 8's. It still will not come off with an impact or a breaker bar. Any suggestions or tips?

Try spraying the area with some penetrating oil and let it sit for a while. I have had some success hitting the puller bolt with a hammer after you get a little tension on it.
Sometimes you can get it to jar loose by hitting the damper in a few places around the diameter of the pulley.

Or you could be like me and ignore that the big bolt came out without a washer, then lie on your back in calichi on the side of the highway turning with all of your might against that washer and end up destroying a Snap-On puller (that's borrowed) before realizing your error... After getting your wife to leave work early in town A to go pick up the part and the tools in town B and meet you in town C, only to end up getting the truck towed back to your house in town B so that you can wrap the job up in 15 minutes with another puller and some daylight. She's so wonderful...
