It felt nice to have the best looking truck in the neighborhood, or at least on the block (well, I KNOW it was the nicest one on the property) for a little while. Went for a ride with my landlord to pick up his brand new Lightning at the dealership... Man does that thing fly. Sounds nice too!
Hey don't feel bad. He will be calling you to borrow your truck when he needs to actually DO some real work.. well I mean other than burnouts at redlights.

I was really just kidding about not having the nicest truck anymore, although I would love to have the seats out of that thing. Comparing mine to a Lightning is like comparing apples to dot-matrix printers.
The Lightning did come with a hitch receiver, and its actually rated to tow 5000# (or maybe more?). I was a little surprised by that. In contrast, the Dodge SRT10 is not rated to tow anything.
really? that is sad that dodge puts a 10 cly and still can't win against the 8cyl competition
Siyé
Actually, Ford's own literature shows the SRT10 beats the Lightning by about 3/10ths in the quarter. But you still can't tow with the thing... lol.
But let's not turn this into a Lightning vs. SRT10 thread. I'll just reiterate that I'm perfectly happy with my F350, and to me it still is the nicest truck in my area. And, if I need to go off-road, I can do that, too!
