Spring pack question
I am looking at a variety of 67 to 72 F250's hoping to find the right one this summer.
Is there anyway to visually determine which rear leaf spring pack the truck came with (1650 lb, 1950 lb, or 2450 lb)? Is it simply the number of leafs? If so, how many leafs does each pack have?

I don't have my book handy so I can't help much. There's a code # on the VIN tag that lets you know what the truck's rated for. Bubba has an interesting goodie on the springs that stiffens them when there's a big load on the truck. It's stock and I think it's there because he's a Camper Special. Next time I have the digital camera, I'll post photos in my gallery.
