When Ford does a brochure for the Super Duty they always use the PSD version. Very few pictures, if any, are gassers. If the badge isn't on the door, I suspect they moved it to the front fender.
The emblem you see on the fender behind the headlight is a Triton V10 emblem... That's a good thing...there is still hope that the Diesel emblem is on the door where it belongs!

You're right upon closer inspection, that is indeed a Triton V10 badge. I myself have been curious about that for the longest time.

It is true that very few of them are gassers. But IMO 2004 was not a good year for the V10. The V10s outnumbered 5.4 V8s in 2000, 2001, 2002, and even the early part of 2003. But now the tables have turned and the V10 isn't selling well or at all in some cases. So I guess that with more power and what I'm assuming is the promise of slightly better mileage; Ford is trying to sell the V10 to more people and get sales back up.
Guys go to FTE home page, click on picture of black F-250 . The next screen will have yellow truck on it, click on the thumbnail and you can see badge is same as 04.
The 05 diesel door badge is different. Here is a picture of it. It is a little fuzzy because I cropped one of the Ford images so it shows just the badge.
