I did think about those. However at 50 bucks a tire more, I was trying not to blow too much cash. However, I might still go with them if they are worth it.
The Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo are an excellent all around tire. My first pick! Next I would go with the Mickey Thompson M/T Baja Radial MTX. Last but not least...the BFG T/A's.
Also is there a big difference between the different load ratings?
Yes. Make sure you stick with a tire that is able to keep up with your truck rating. Not sure what truck you have, but if you keep in with the Load Range C (6 ply), D (8 ply), or E (10 ply)...you should be fine.
I have BFG T/A and I got over 65k out of them, reason I say over 65k is I removed and replaced them at 65k and my son is still using them. Real good tire IMO
