Whose got the most miles??
Ok Lets see who has the highest miles on there Explorer. Two catagories 4.0 and V8.
I have a 98 Explorer 4.0 SOHC with 71000 and want to get a feel for how long this thing will run. I want to trade it in before it goes. I have seen as high 140,000.

162,000 on my 92 Explorer, 4.0 and A4LD. Tranny is on the way out right now, have to shift it manually to make it work properly. Master Ford mechanic friend says the one-way clutch is fried, next thing that will happen is no OD, but will probably still run along time without OD... Planning on rebuilding it myself this winter...
