All my gauges work the break and oil light come on when I start it but no lights come on with my headlights.
One thing is its posable that the guages I'm using are from a 78/79 truck and mine is a 77 and I'm using a 77 headlight switch. I think the headlight switch is diff but I don't know for sure.
No they never worked for me. The guy I bought it from said they always worked but that was like 12 years ago. Sence restoration no they haven't worked I replaced The switch with a brand new one hoping that would fix my problem.
Did you try twisting the headlight ****? That's how the dash lights get dimmed or turned off... Don't mean to offend - but it's best to try the easy things first...
There are supposed to be lights over the headlight/wiper switches and in the heater controls, do these work?
Ok guys thanks now I have a few things to try hadn't thought about the printed circuit being bad, I'll check that and I'm getting a wireing guide for the truck so I can check the grounds too.
