hello again. My recently purchased 2000 EB, which my wife and I just love, has the key pad on the drivers door for keyless entry. The manual says the 5 digit factory set code is stuck to the computer. Does anyone know where this thing is? I have been all over this truck looking for it and can not find it. Thanks again, Brian
I found my code by the brake pedal. Get on your back and look up in there and you will see a little box with a 5 digit number on it. That is the factory code.
Gosh Homer, thanks for the picture and all i was able to find mine thanks to your response and your picture. Now that is serious Expedition owner, someone that would take that kind of time to help someone else. Thanks a million. Brian
Tyger25, LOL, no problem, you probably wont even need it as I rarely lock my doors. Too many kids around here that would not hesitate to bust out a 250.00 window to retrieve 50 cents in loose change so just leave it unlocked at home. Nothing in it worth taking. For example all my CDs are symphony orchestra music. That would drive any crook nuts! LOL
You have just had your first of MANY great and helpful experiences on FTE. I think you will find that all of the members here will purposly go out of their way to help out of their way to help other Ford owners!
Your 03 uses a Central Security Module, which is located behind the glovebox area far right of dash next to the blower plenum. I dont know if the security code is printed on the outside of it however. You may have to remove it from the vehicle to see the label.
