Its a beautiful thing

Well, my truck arrived home via towtruck this evening from the night class I was taking at the local county vocational school for fun. My 70 f250 4x4 was brought down there to have its motor removed for rebuilding. Since class is over for the summer it had to come home. I just arrived home from work to find it here resting in the apartment complex minus a motor (with the motor at a reputable engine shop). It looked wonderful to me. Its ready to receive new life under its hood. Its ready to give many more years of faithful service to its new owner. I was happy to see it when I came home from work. Although I know I have another month or so before it gets back on the road, I know that what I am doing to keep this magnificient truck on the road is a good thing. Although I am spending several thousand dollars to keep it going, I know I am preserving a piece of American history. My truck looked good even though it had no motor just knowing that soon it will be back on the road giving more years of faithful service. Just though I would share my appreciation for Ford Trucks with y'all.

Best and most sincere regards,

James Kern

You are not alone my friend, I have two of those myself. A 75 Bronco and a 71 Sport Custom just waiting for there turn to be worked on. And in my opinion If you don't have something to look foward to, you'd never get outta bed. Good luck on the month ahead and let us know how its going!
