I just came up with the idea for a new game that we all can get into, even Webmaster,Mil1ion,and all the mods. The prize=knowledge.I am going to call it>Know your Fords. There will be all sorts of different questions that deal with everything from how a TPS works to what is a Highboy to what years were the Edsel made to what is a VSS.If it is ok with the bosses, tell me what you think.Good idea or bad?

Didn't we already have a game like that...called the Game of Knowledge? You just want to start it up again and try to get past the "Bandwidth Police" by saying it is to deal with Fords! Shouldn't this be in the General Automotive discussion?!?!
Actually, this "game" you speak of is already on here. It's called "Ford Truck Enthusiasts" A place where you can ask questions and ACTUALLY GET answers!
No I wasnt trying to pull a fast one,the game of knowledge was about anything. This is more along the lines of questions that people are always asking like,How does a MAF tell how much air is flowing,How does a TPS actually know where the throttle is?That kind of stuff.Maybe I should have added a poll, cause that sounded like a no vote.
Basically it sounds like that answer this trivia question & the person who gets it right then asks another one.The big difference is, these series if questions could all be made part of a *Tidbits of automotive knowledge* thread.
I would prefer all the pertinent answers be in their pertinent forum
Ok,I think tidbits of automotive knowledge is a good title, and I can post it in G.A.C,but how do I put the answers in the correct forum, say if I was to ask,,Where is the shift relay located on an Explorer or Joe brought in his truck complaining that the autolamps dont shut off and as soon as I saw the newspaper on his dash I knew what was wrong, what was it.
