Hello, quick question,
The factory plug wires have those nice little clips that hold them onto the coil pak on top of the module. I have just changed my wires to aftermarket and guess what? There is no way that those clips will ever fit the new wires and I dont see how they will even come off the old wires. Anyone agree????
You have to buy wires specifically for coil packs. The ends are not removable - well they are, but the'll never work again. The stock wires from Ford are pretty good, plus Taylor makes them and also Jacobs Electronics.
Even with everything I have done, I still run a set of FMS wires. They are 8mm, and have done extremely well. I did not get any more power from my Taylor or Jacob wires as I am from the FMS.
